Campus Ministry
The Campus Ministry at Sophia University Junior College Division (SUJCD) organizes and operates programs aimed at fostering individuals who embody the university’s educational ethos of “For Others, With Others,” while providing opportunities to learn about and experience Christian humanism. The Campus Ministry’s activities can be broadly categorized into two types: liturgical ceremonies and educational programs.
The primary liturgical events include the Mass of Thanksgiving for New Students, the Mass of Thanksgiving for Graduates, the Jubilarian Masses (for Ruby and Silver anniversaries), the Mass for the Commemoration of Deceased, and monthly Birthday Masses. Additionally, Bible study sessions are organized to offer students deeper insights into the founding spirit of Sophia University and Christian humanism. Moreover, the Christmasrelated events at the Junior College begin with the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony held at the end of November and conclude with the Christmas Ceremony on the third Wednesday of December. Through these programs, participants are provided with opportunities to deepen their understanding of faith and humanity while gaining practical and meaningful experiences.
